Hollanders Printing Systems (HPS) has always minded the environment. The decision to use water-based disperse inks is (besides some technical reasons) part of the HPS 'go green' philosophy. HPS feels that using hazardous or toxic material should be avoided as much as possible.

The HPS textile print production platform also minds energy and water consumption: the ColorFix uses less energy than traditional processes, the ColorWash uses the least amount of water possible. On top of that, the solution offered by HPS results to less misprints and rules out excessive waste paper as commonly seen in transfer, dye-sub systems.

At Fespa 2008 in Geneva, HPS is part of the Fespa Digital Green (Planet Friendly) Trail. This label is a recognition of the 'go green' philosophy of HPS. It stands for offering products and solutions that are particularly environmentally friendly.
