Hollanders Printing Systems (HPS) is manufacturer of digital textile printing solutions. Among their products are the ColorBooster digital textile printer, the ColorFix textile sublimation and fixation unit and the ColorWash modular textile washing machine; HPS inks, HPS media and HPS Separator software are also part of the product range.
At this year’s Sign Expo exhibition in Las Vegas (April 11-14), HPS will show the ColorBooster printer; a multi-purpose printer for various textile printing applications. With the latest enhancements to this digital textile print production machine, HPS further commits itself to bringing to market a solution with highest possible uptime with minimum operator effort.
The ColorBooster digital textile printer is a wide format printer with 16 heads, 8 colors, running 22 m²/h to 80 m²/h, at 360dpi to 2880dpi. It's primarily aimed at the production of flags and banners, but it also allows other applications for indoor and outdoor use: home decor, garment, carpet, swim wear; almost every type of textile materials and dyestuff groups can be used, incl. silk, cotton, polyester etc. The ColorBooster by default comes with an ink set of 8 disperse inks offering wide gamut printing. Optionally it's possible to use other types of ink such as pigment, acid, reactive and dye sublimation. Most important feature is the controlled environment that allows for guaranteed unattended printing. This is achieved by using climate control, an optimized media transport and tension control method, and an anti-clog and anti-sedimentation ink delivery system.
The latest edition of the ColorBooster has the following enhancements:
• Climate control unit; now also extended to the entire roll loaded in the system
• Ink circulation pump; completely proprietary system that protects the heads
• Maintenance station; improved head cleaning for ultimate print quality
As a stand-alone unit, the ColorBooster offers higher quality at lower price per square meter. In combination with the infrared fixation unit and the industrial textile washing machine, it offers a complete in-line textile print production solution.
Hollanders Printing Systems is present at booth 503 at the ISA Sign Expo exhibition (Las Vegas, April 11-14, Mandalay Bay Hotel and Convention Center).
